What we have been up to . . .

Things have been hectic for our little brand, but things are moving and we can’t thank our loyal supporters for supporting The Mainline Coffee Co. This past month we have been concentrating on what the next step is for our business. We are confident in our product and that stems from the great feedback we have been receiving from our customer base.

If you aren’t familiar with this brand we are built from the passion of living a active lifestyle. Weather it’s in the water, dirt, or streets we encourage our following to live life BOLD! We got to travel to Australia recently to get some waves and to ride their local trails and of course to get to know the coffee culture down under. Australia is known for some amazing coffee shops and they didn’t disappoint. It seems that where the best waves or trail head were a gritty family owned and operated coffee shop was right around the corner waiting for you with a fresh cup. All in all we had an amazing trip hitting Surf spots like Main Beach, Burleigh Heads, South Straddie, Nambucca Heads, and Black Rock. We were able to hit some good trail bike riding on the mountain bike as well. Daisy Hill on the Gold Coast has some really fun trails that are community maintained as well as the trails in Nambucca Heads that we got to ride. Its very refreshing to see the government behind great local trails.

Since being home from Australia we have hit the ground running working on a new activation trailer so we can better serve everyone at events. The Crew at Scorpion Bike Stands have been helping us out with the custom fabrication and design of the trailer we call “El Pinche” stay tuned for full story on this.

Getting the crew together is always tough but it seems Supercross and Mountain Bikes make it that much easier. We got with our good friend Victor Sheldon that puts on the Quick N’ Dirty mountain bike races and between his crew and ours we put together a group trail ride in San Diego before the San Diego SX. The ride had some heavy hitters with the likes of Brian Lopes, Aaron Chase, Mike Montgomery and representatives from ONE Industries and 100%. The ride was for all levels and but when we made it over to some jump lines the gloves came off and Mike Montgomery started going upside down and other riders were doing some trains though the most technical jumps around. The ride was a hit and a great way to jump start the day. Everyone left the ride stoked to go watch some SX. We can assure that is the start of many more Pre San Diego Supercross rides.

Sometimes you just have to suffer and we are there to serve up coffee for those occasions. Last Sunday we came to support the Quick N’ Dirty Mountain Bike race in Balboa Park San Diego with free Pour Overs for racers and spectators. There was a great turn out and we were pleased to go through 5lbs of coffee. The racing was great and our boy Todd Flaming took home the win in the Clydesdale Cat2 category. Congrats to all the riders who raced the race it was a fast technical course that challenged the best of riders.
